Truing

◀Basic Knowledge

Truing is the tool or to arrange the surface of the pad.

[In the case of Diamond tool] The height of all DP is made even and the DP face is made smooth.
by using grindstone for correction.

Grindstone for correction
Abrasive：GC, Alumina etc.
Bond：BITORIFAIDO,Resinoid bonded

[In the case of Polishing Pad] To repair a distortion of the pad surface and do a pad side smoothly by using Correction Carrier

Abrasive：Diamond
Bond：Metal
※In the case of truing of polishing pad, we use metal for a bond, because the abrasive which fell off from correction grindstone, may hurt work material if the vitrified or resinoid is used.
